GR&S, Inc. Names Tom Jennings as Assistant Estimator

RALEIGH, NC (Sept. 2008) – Geo. Raper & Son, Inc. (GR&S) announces Tom Jennings has joined the Raleigh office as an assistant estimator. Jennings will be responsible for researching and assembling price estimates for potential construction projects, rainwater harvesting installation and customizable design-build prototypes.

“We are excited to expand our team in response to increasing interest in our green design-build services,” said Steve Raper, vice president of GR&S. “Jennings’ support role enables us to stay focused on ongoing projects while simultaneously responding to new requests.”

Jennings joins the GR&S team after working with State Utility Contractors in Monroe. His previous experience also includes working for Quality Builders in Elizabeth City. He has completed both the Estimators Training Program at the Construction Estimating Institute and the Carolinas AGC Project SuperVISION program.

Jennings earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Carolina University. He is a native of Elizabeth City and currently resides in Raleigh.
